LADY VIVIAN
SMOOTH AS A CAT X A ONE SHE'S MY PLAYGIRL
Vivian was the result of a two year long, country wide search for a powerfully bred, successful mare that could continue to be campaigned in aged events.
Due to Covid Vivian, like many Victorian horses missed her futurities and has only had very limited outings but trained and ridden by her non pro breeder Dean Bradley she finalled and/or placed in every Derby ( bar one) she competed in – including the NCHA at Tamworth and Scone and the Victorian Derby. She was also third in the hotly contested NSWCH Open Derby at Scone, shown Corey Holden.
Vivian is a daughter of the influential Smooth As A Cat (LTE over $5000,000US. PE Over $32 million US) and she is a full sister to the very successful Gucci Gang and she is maternal sister to Shesa Skilly Cat who has lifetime earnings of over $80,000 and progeny earnings of close to $20,000, she was the 2015 Res NCHA Classic Champion and DDDC Derby Champion. She is also the dam of 2019 NCHA Res NP Futurity Champion Skilly Rey Cyrus and the successful Duchess of Skills. Vivian is also a maternal sister to Futurity finalist and place getter Playgirl Queen, and notable money earner Playsum.
Vivian was campaigned for Jamuna by Dean Holden for part of the 2023 show season which culminated in her finalling in all but one major Classic Challenge including placing at the Nationals and the NCHA Classic Challenge. She also placed and won at major shows including running a 149 at the Mare Stakes at Benalla to win the 15000 Open.
Early 2024 saw her begin competing with Donna in the Non Pro classes. Taking some time to get used to each other , Viv has still won and placed at some of the shows and ran two 73s to win the Novice Non Pro and run second in the Rookies at a March show. They will hopefully go the the NCHA at Tamowrth in May.
She will be bred by ET in 2024.
Playgirl has been a very good show mare herself with LE of $12,132 and she s excelling as a broodmare consistently producing high level money earners.
Her progeny, to date have earned just under $93,000 and with Classic, Derby and Futurity aged progeny being shown in 2023, some outstanding youngsters waiting in the wings and some exciting babies on the way, her progeny earnings are sure to skyrocket in the years to come.

She’s My Oak was a well performed cutter herself , a multi futurity finalist and dam of numerous futurity finalists and other money earners including A One He’s My Boy, A One Jay’s Little Oak, and successful drafter A One She’s My Play Pep.
