The quest to add a mare from Cuttabar's brilliant Colonel's Destiny line began a number of years ago. The EXTREME cow bred into this line, along with their freakish athletic ability was something the breeding program here wants to build on and keep in the foals.
After two years of Donna annoying poor Kim and Fred Johnson, one of these mares finally made it to Jamuna.
Looks Like Sugar is by super sire and athlete Kit Kat Sugar and she is out of the very successful Colonels Destiny daughter Looks LIke A Cat. Being by WR This Cats Smart makes her a full sister to the phenomenal his Cats Destiny, High Destinction, Cuttabar Designer Cat etc ..
Due to Covid Suga missed her Futurity and ended up only getting to a couple of shows with limited training. Even so, she was a money earner and showed glimpses of her exceptional ability and uncanny cowiness.
Purchased as a brood, after a few rides, it was decided to give her a go in the pen as her ability and cowiness in electrifying so she may be seen out and about later in 2024 before joining the elite broodmare band.
From an illustrious family of full brothers and sister Looks Like A Cat was a phenomenal mare on a cow with considerable NCHA earnings , including NCHA Open and Non Pro Futurity placings before becoming an important dam in the Cuttabar breeding program. From only a small number of foals she has produced two NCHA futurity finalists and multiple money earners.
